South Kyushu Pass

• Trains between Oita, Kumamoto, Kagoshima-Chuo, Miyazaki, and Miyazaki Airport stations
• Unlimited reserved and non-reserved seats (redeemable up to 6 times)

North Kyushu Pass

• Trains between Hakata, Kokura, Mojikō, Saga, Nagasaki, Sasebo, and Beppu stations
• Unlimited non-reserved and reserved seats (redeemable up to 6 times)

Note: Seats can only be reserved on Shinkansen (Mizuho, Sakura, Tsubame, and Kamome bullet trains) and limited express trains.

• This pass is only valid for non-Japanese passport holders with a Temporary Visitor stamp. Permanent citizens of Japan including non-Japanese passport holders cannot use this pass.
• Please ensure that you receive a stamp or seal from airport staff indicating that you are a 'temporary visitor'. Ensure that you approach personnel if entering via an automated gate to receive the stamp/certificate.
• The pass is valid for 3, 5, or 7 consecutive days (depending on your selection) once activated.

• You can use the pass for 3, 5, or 7 days (depending on the ticket selected).
• You'll have to reserve your seats. You can collect reserved seats at the ticket office (at the station) by showing your JR Pass. You can also skip ticketing lines and collect your tickets at the reserved seat ticket machine.

• These tickets can’t be cancelled. However, you can use them any time within the next 3 months.
• These tickets are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.

The ticket has the following options you can choose from:

• This experience is only available for non-Japanese passport holders and those residing outside Japan, visiting temporarily.
• Please obtain a temporary visitor proof with a stamp or seal on your passport when you enter Japan. If you are using an automated gate when entering Japan please offer it to the airport staff and receive a certificate.
• Bring along your passport.
• The name, country of residence, and passport numbers entered when booking must be an exact match to the passports used when boarding.
• Green car seating is available at an additional cost.
• This pass has to be used on consecutive days.

• At Kyushu stations, Sugoca cards may be purchased from the ticket office for kids between the ages of 0 and 12.
• The booking office at JR Kyushu's Gokakado will handle the return of the remaining payment and the JPY 500 deposit.
• If you want a refund, you must present the actual card.
• JPY220 in handling costs will be taken from the remaining amount.
• Sugoca IC cards that have suffered serious damage or loss are not eligible for a refund.
• Check out the maps in advance to learn the best routes for utilizing the Sugoca card to travel efficiently.

• Bring along your seat reservation ticket and show it to the driver upon boarding (only for buses that require reservation).
• Note that the SUNQ Pass will not be re-issued if lost.
• A few routes require a prior seat reservation. Check out the full details on pages 10 & 11 here.

• For buses that don’t need a reservation, directly board the bus with a sticker placed on the bus. The SUNQ Pass-eligible ferries will also have a sticker posted at the ticket window/waiting area.
• Some city and highway buses require prior reservation and you can reserve the seats 30 days in advance or 30mins before the bus takes off.
• Collect your seat ticket at a ticket desk and show it to your driver, which will be collected at the boarding or dropping time.
• A day is counted from 3am to 2:59am the following morning. If you opted for 3-day pass it means that you can use the pass for 4 consecutive days.
• Getting on or off a bus between 12am and 2am will be counted as the previous calendar day.
• Also, if you use your pass for a night bus on the night of the third (fourth) day of the usage period, it will be valid for the remainder of your ride.

• You can cancel these tickets up to 24 hours before the experience begins and get a full refund.
